The legacy of the London 2012 continues to inspire businesses to get active and become more involved in supporting work done by charities up and down the UK. The organisers of the Gold Postbox Cycle Challenge propose to cycle from their Solihull and Coventry offices to each of the 62 gold post boxes marking the achievement of every gold medal winner in last year’s Summer Olympics and Paralympics, over a three month period.
Lyons Davidson’s employment law team in Solihull and their business contacts were quick to take up the challenge and sponsor the Leeds leg of the 3,600 mile route. Their involvement adds to Lyons Davidson’s dedication to promoting cycling and supporting the local communities they are based in and the employment team, led by divisional head Peter Orton, will be pedalling hard to raise as much money for Macmillan Cancer Support as possible. Employment law solicitors David Leslie and Jennifer Clark-Lewis will be joining Peter in the peloton and providing support for the team’s efforts.
To help this fantastic cause exceed the fundraising target of £20,000 for Macmillan, donations can be made via JustGiving. The cycling revolution at Lyons Davidson continues, join us and our business partners for the ride!
