Lyons Davidson represented on Employment Lawyers Association working party
David Sillitoe (Senior Associate, Leeds) and Lucile Foster (Solicitor, Bristol) have been selected to take part in the Employment Lawyers Association working party responding to the government consultation on ‘compensated no-fault dismissals’ for micro-businesses.
The working party will be considering the pros and cons of introducing the compensated no fault dismissal for micro-businesses, what the definition of a ‘micro-business’ should be, the level of compensation appropriate for such dismissals and the impact on other types of claims.
The working party will respond from a non-political standpoint and will look at the effects on employers, employees and employment law as a whole.
The working part is due to submit its final response by 8 June 2012.
