Summer of 2018 saw a 300 per cent increase in the number of subsidence claims reported.

During the summer months, when the weather is commonly dryer, roots of vegetation are at their peak and their small, fibrous roots go on the search for water. It is actually these small deceiving roots that abstract any available moisture, which can result in the soil on which your property is founded to constrict and shrink.
