After leaving Lyons Davidson’s Fleet Street office at approximately 7:30 am this morning, the Tour de LD cyclists made their first stop at the New Malden office, arriving just before 9am.

Joined by New Malden’s own Ben Lim and Fleet Street’s Chris Pask for the first leg, the cyclists were greeted by an exuberant, 65 strong team, and were surrounded by all they could possibly need for their pitstop: home-made smoothies, fruit skewers, chocolate truffles, scones, sausage breakfast rolls and sports energy drinks.

Scotland via Plymouth

The refreshments were provided free for the cyclists (who need all the energy they can get on their journey to Scotland via Plymouth) and their support driver Sarah Ingham, but the rest was sold throughout the day to raise money for charity.

Fundraising for Cancer Research

Thank you to everyone from the New Malden office for an amazing effort: David, Jordan, Ben and Chris – the New Malden office wishes you all the best for the rest of the day – and the rest of the tour – next stop – Plymouth!

The Tour de LD is a charity cycle ride around all of Lyons Davidson’s offices to raise money for Cancer Research. So far, £2,009 of the £3,000 target has been raised. All donations gratefully received on the Tour de LD Virgin Money Giving page.
