Lyons Davidson is finalist at CILEx National Awards

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve reached the final in two categories of the CILEx National Awards 2019, which recognise talent, innovation and business practices that open up access to the legal profession.

Diversity & Inclusion Award

Our selection as a finalist in this award recognises our strategic objective of encouraging inclusion and celebrating diversity. We achieve this through monitoring and reviewing equal opportunities throughout our recruitment process and career development paths.  Over the last five years, we’ve been at the forefront of ensuring that entrance to the legal profession is available to people of all backgrounds, working with a number of external organisations to ensure the profession supports a more inclusive entrance programme.  We’ve created a number of opportunities within our business to widen the background and experience of entrants who join us.

Accessibility is one of our core values and we work hard to make sure our legal service is available to our customers in a way that suits them and their needs.  This includes extending how we communicate with customers in ways and at times convenient to them.

Large Law Firm of the Year Award

We’re also in the running for the Law Firm of the Year (Large) Award. To get to this stage, we demonstrated our broad range of legal expertise and high levels of customer satisfaction. At Lyons Davidson, customers are at the heart of our business. We use innovative technology and a comprehensive training and supervision programme to ensure our customers have a positive experience in the service they receive.  We take feedback from our customers on their experience and listen to and act on what they tell us to ensure that we’re continually improving our service to meet their demands. We’re proud of our high level of customer satisfaction.

The winners of the CILEx National Awards will be announced at a special ceremony in London on Thursday, 5 September 2019.
