I am a Regulatory Corporate Crime and Motoring Solicitor who has significant experience representing companies and individuals facing investigation or prosecution by enforcement authorities. I regularly receive instructions from insurers, corporate clients and private individuals nationwide to include multi national companies, trade unions, high net worth individuals and professional persons.

I am experienced in all aspects of criminal litigation from representing individuals who are being investigated and ‘interviewed under caution’ to representing anyone appearing before the Courts facing prosecution. I frequently draft submissions for use in Court proceedings and have an ‘advocacy focused’ practice whereby I regularly appear before the Criminal courts and hold ‘higher rights of audience’ enabling me to appear at the Crown Court.

I have a strong road traffic practice and, in particular, I have an excellent record of saving peoples licences when faced with either discretionary or points based ‘totting disqualifications’. I have many years of experience of dealing with the whole spectrum of road traffic  offences with a particular emphasis upon defending motorists in connection with insurance funded careless driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and death by dangerous/careless driving cases.

I have experience of advising companies, at board level, regarding director’ responsibilities and corporate manslaughter, CDM regulations and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. I have conducted all types of regulatory defence work including defending prosecutions brought by the Crown Prosecution Service, SOCA, HMRC, Trading Standards, The Environment Agency, HSE, The Insolvency Service, VOSA, DWP and RSPCA.

I can work with individuals facing investigation at an early stage of proceedings with a view to preventing a prosecution from progressing or robustly work to defend anyone already facing proceedings before the criminal courts, to obtain the best possible outcome for them.
