The Head and Spinal Injury Unit is a specialist unit which provides head and spinal injured clients and their families with advice and support by solicitors experienced in dealing with these claims.
Our aim is to recover the maximum amount of damages for head and spinal injured clients and their families whilst seeking to make the litigation process as straightforward as possible.
The Unit has experience of dealing with head and spinal injury claims arising from road traffic accidents, accidents at work, sporting accidents, accidents in the home, Occupiers liability and clinical negligence.
We have experience of dealing with the Court of Protection for claimants who do not have mental capacity, setting up Special Needs Trusts (to protect clients damages where they are in receipt of means tested benefits) and setting up Structured Settlements/Periodical Payments providing for annual payments from damages obtained. The Unit can also arrange specialist independent financial advice for the investment of damages.
In the last 4 years the Unit has recovered over £8 million pounds on behalf of head injured/spinal cord injured clients.
