The service includes negotiating settlements both in respect of between the parties claims and costs audits. If settlement is not possible Meruit Costs will provide advocacy at Detailed Assessment.
The Department is divided into 4 teams. Team 1 deal with between the parties pre-litigated costs disputes, Team 2 deal with between the parties litigated costs disputes, Team 3 deal with auditing claims for costs submitted to insurers and Team 4 deal with family costs.
