Our national employment team provides practical and commercially focussed advice to employers on the full range of employment and HR related issues. Whilst guiding our clients through the employment law minefield we pay particular attention to ensuring that our advice is tailored to the specific needs of our clients. We have a highly experienced litigation team defending all types of employment litigation whilst being actively involved in alternative forms of dispute resolution. We regularly provide training to our clients on various aspects of employment law.
The team acts for a wide range of organisations including national charities, universities, further education establishments, SMEs and public companies.
The services we provide include:
- HR support in the recruitment, management and dismissal of employees
- Advising on industrial relations, collective workforce issues and trade union matters
- Advising on large scale restructuring and redundancies
- The provision of bespoke contractual and policy documentation
- Legal representation in employment tribunal and county court litigation
- Advising on the employment aspects of business acquisitions and transfers
