Types of Instructions
Court Hearings
Advocacy currently deals with all levels of hearings in-house for our own fee earners who instruct us directly. We also cover hearings for external Solicitors who, by prior arrangement, instruct us to attend on their behalf. Being based throughout the different offices gives us significant coverage of England and Wales.
We are competitively priced and our in-house service is well represented by our members to support Lyons Davidson. We have a range of experience within our members and are happy to discuss new arrangements via the Advocacy Practice Manager.
Advices
Advocacy is also able to provide advice on liability and quantum in relation to a variety of different types of case, within the ambit of the expertise of its members.
Advice can be provided on an ad-hoc, informal, basis over the telephone, or (when required) a more formal written advice supported by case-law, following receipt of formal written instructions, such as in the case of infant approval of general damages.
