LD Extra is an extranet service linked seamlessly with Filestream to provide referrers and clients the ability to check on certain information on files to which they have access rights.

Commercial Extranet Users

From the referrer's point of view, this enables the user to check on the present position of any relevant file, which documents were last completed and when, as well as the content of them, file history, outstanding and future tasks needing completion.

In addition, whilst the extranet user cannot fully interact with what can be seen on screen, a message can be left on the file for the file handler, and it will appear in the handler's to do list for attention.

We have updated our management information through the use of on screen arrays allowing you to filter, drill down and assess information from data tables created for you, with the ability to develop your own reports on line.

Individual Extranet users

As part of our review of our services to clients, we are now extending our extranet access to individual clients. The current rollout will focus on new clients for one insurer within the firm and will provide access to their personal file details and completed documents. They will also be able to access the message facility to communicate with the person dealing with their file.

At this stage, the service is not available on request for individual clients outside the rollout plan.

Access to the Extranet

If you have the necessary rights to access the Extranet, it is simply a case of entering your username and password (provided to you securely under separate cover).

Whereas previously there were separate log in screens for referrers and individual Extranet users, this has now been upgraded to log you in to the relevant part of the site according to your user details. The login can be found on the Lyons Davidson homepage, or you can log in below.
