Health Records Analysts

The Health Records Analysts (HRAs) are a 30-strong team working mainly in the nursing profession. The analysts have been specially trained to sort and review health records if Case Handlers require this service when preparing their cases. The main role of the HRAs is to paginate and index medical records, and also complete chronologies relating to the relevant issues of a claim. HRAs can also guide Case Handlers and experts through clients’ medical records, providing general advice and confidential comments about specific questions on matters within their area of

expertise. Because of the good relationship we have with our HRAs, in certain Clinical Negligence cases, we can use their extensive medical experience to assist in evaluating the merits of a new claim at an early stage. The HRA service is headed by Clinical Negligence Partner Jenny Scowen, managed by Debra Fox, and assisted by Jodie Peters.
